You and I were once stars in the sky,

Colliding with meteorites, we split into shooting stars,

Falling separately to the earth,

But we never stopped searching for each other's footsteps.

When we found each other,

We realized we had changed.

How could two independent fragments become the same star again?

But you and I both know,

We will eventually return together to that sea of stars.

Lying beneath the shade of the trees, gazing at the stars,
